The world is becoming more and more digitized. This is particularly true in the case of the education sector. According to market research, the global Education Technology (EdTech) market will grow by 18.1% to eventually reach USD 285.2 billion by the end of 2027. This is quite a big and tempting cake, part of which we would like to bake for us and for our community. We are all aware that there are a lot of already admitted entities on the EdTech market and that many new ones already put their seeds into the online education ground. The second scenario is where the DoEdu journey begins.

About DoEdu Platform

We are developing a platform where learners, students, teachers, and organizations can interact with each other for education. On this platform, teachers interact with learners in live sessions using live meeting tools. The session will be recorded and uploaded to our systems for future revision. Students can check the profile of teachers and request to connect to learn something from teachers using live sessions or from already prepared materials. Learners can watch the lessons and promote the organization.

We are connecting to each other for entertainment or for chit-chat on a daily basis. But, we are not connecting for education, discussions, or teaching. We have a number of online learning platforms but which one is better or best, we do not know. How to promote good teachers, how to connect good teachers, and request for favorite topics.

After completing some learning material, students can get some incentives to encourage them to study more. We found that no such feature is available in any system in the current market. This is one of the problems which we are going to solve using our DoEdu platform. Students will get some incentive to watch lessons, provide some feedback, and promote teachers or their content.

To introduce an incentivized system, we need some transparency as well for our community. For solving this problem we are required to bring blockchain into our system. With blockchain, everything is stored and recorded on-chain or off-chain on our DoEdu platform.

There is some issue in traditional web applications to solve the problem, we are bringing blockchain into our system With blockchain, everything is recorded on-chain or off-chain on our DoEdu platform.

This concept is also fit for organizations like universities where they publish the content in the form of text, audio, or video libraries. They can arrange online lessons for learners to learn from the university. They can issue certificates and incentivize the learners for more. Online classes will be recorded and published on our DoEdu platform for other users to connect and graduate.

A few use cases have been covered and there are a lot of things that will happen while developing the DoEdu platform.

We are extremely excited to start our journey with DoEdu. We encourage you to visit our website DoEdu and to follow us on Twitter, join our Discord channel where you can reach out anytime for regular updates for our development.

About Lisk

There are many blockchain smart contract libraries and tools available in the market such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Tron, Lisk, Nem, Cardano, etc… Out of these, we choose Lisk blockchain because it is built using JavaScript, which is the most widely adopted programming language. We are participants in the Lisk Grant Program and we recommend Lisk SDK as a well-featured and structured blockchain framework, which is also our choice. This makes it an extremely easy-to-use blockchain for developers and even non-technical entities, as JavaScript is reasonably easy to learn.

Next step: MVP

Our first goal is to create a ready for use minimum viable product to let the users give us feedback that will let us set a particular direction of details development. This is the target to achieve in the incoming months.
